Nuts

We produce a range of irresistible nuts at home, high roasting them in olive oil before flavouring them with our blend of home roasted spices, or smoking them in our smokehouse.

Our smoked spicy almonds and our black pepper and sea salt cashews are proving to be particularly popular.

Almonds are a great choice for those unable to have dairy, as they are rich in calcium which is important for healthy bones and teeth.

They are also high in vitamin E which is good for healthy skin.

Cashews, just like olives, are high in healthy monounsaturated fats, as well as protein.

They are a useful source of minerals such as iron and zinc and are a good choice for vegetarians.

Walnuts are a good source of omega 3 fatty acids and have been found to help boost gut health.

Healthy Snacks and Sweet Treats

We now stock sweet Turkish dried figs and Palestinian Medjoul dates. Their natural sugars make them great energy boosting snacks, ideal for the health conscious.

Dried figs are high in fibre and a good source of several essential minerals, including potassium, iron, magnesium, manganese and calcium, as well as vitamins A, K and B6. They are also a good source of prebiotics and enhance digestive health.

Medjoul dates are good for your health, as they contain phenolic compounds which can help manage cholesterol levels in your blood. Consuming dates regularly has even been found to be good for your immune system.

If you fancy something even more indulgent, we have a tempting range of traditionally made Turkish baklava with nuts and honey, sweet crispy cannoli from Sicily, rich pistachio halva from Greece and authentic Turkish Delight in a range of flavours.

Our halva is made entirely with sesame, honey and pistachio nuts and makes a great accompaniment to an espresso.
